Ok am about to go off on a tangent here. Well, I understand that a raincoat has more responsibility than an umbrella. So it will be more expensive but that does not mean I will spend any amount on a raincoat. And I definitely wont especially when I know I will only wear it 4 months in a year and that I want a new one every year!

Well I’ll be a little more frank here. These raincoats are more like an outfit. I mean I need something that’s going to cover my outfit and not become an outfit in it self! Why? Well, here’s why. If I buy a raincoat worth Rs 4000 I will worry more about the raincoat and a raincoat is suppose to free you from worries. A rain coat is meant to protect and not be protected. Get the point?

P.S. While Sonya Vajifdar’s raincoats may rock the runway but they certainly dont make it worth the savings for a rainy day!

Tuesday Town Track!

So I was out and about again! I went everywhere in search of the cute n quirky and also on the look out for deals. And here’s what I found. I think you are gonna love it.

You know am planning to have several funds like the “Bora Bora vacation” fund then the “Designer outfit” fund amongst others and that means I need to get myself Pretty Piggy Banks first! I mean what fun is it to save in an ugly box anyway. If you wanna save then save in style! And yesterday when I stepped into Satyam Collections, Church gate (God knows I love this store!) they were having their Buy one get one Monsoon sale! So here’s what I picked up, 2 cute Piggy Banks! Hey! How are ya ? How was your Sunday? What did you do? Did you just lock yourself up indoors or did you go and catch the latest flick? I’d love to know. I on the other hand had quite a nice Sunday. Although it was nothing drastically different that I did  but it was one of those peaceful weekends where I really did all my favorite things you know. I cooked in the morning, I blogged a bit, I wore my favorite clothes and got the chance to accessorize after a long time. You know how we get all caught up and never use the accessories we have; I did that after a long time and I felt good. Well, here’s my day in pictures! I really enjoyed some quiet moments with my beloved at the Bespoke cafe at The Collective (its not at all expensive, the coffee is Rs 50/- incase you were wondering!) then I made a wish ! Yay! and you know what they say that it comes true if you wish it for someone else, well I did. The Make a wish foundation well was placed in the middle of the mall at Phoenix mills where you could choose a coin either gold or silver and make a wish and throw it into the well! It was that simple. So I made a wish for someone who wanted something really badly! And I do hope he will hear me! So here you go! Enjoy the pics! And dont forget to tell me what you did!
