My “Sarry” Story
You know I used to belong to the gang of girls who would do anything to skip wearing a saree and now am on the opposite side. The tables have turned and I have realized all that a saree does for me. I have finally discovered my “Bharatiya woman” avatar.

A saree makes me more Indian, more sexy, more stylish than any salwar kameez will ever do (or for that matter any fusion or western outfit).
I mean there is a reason why the likes of Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora Khan, Rekha, Twinkle Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone don the saree oh so often at events.
So now Iam a girl who does have “saree” on her shopping list occassionally. And recently I have come across some interesting ones that am saving up for. Shobha De’s sarees have caught my attention and am keen to sample a few. Well, yes am aware they could be costly but if I feel something is really worth my while, I won’t hesitate. I will stand up for my saree!
